"Island Getaways" Family Tent Camping
This summer, let the Zoo take you on an Island Getaway…
Bring the family and join us for a great night under the stars! Our education specialists will be your guides as we explore island species and culture in an evening of family fun. You’ll learn about the special challenges island species face and what makes their habitat unique.

You’ll arrive at the Anthony Wayne Trail gate at 7 p.m. From there you’ll be whisked to an “island getaway” in the center of the Zoo, where you’ll relax under the stars and spend the night in tents that the Zoo provides.

There are currently no dates available for Family Tent Camping.

Prices:
Zoo Members: $35 per camper
Non-members: $40 per camper
Prices are per person, per night 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
(includes evening snack, breakfast, Zoo souvenir and educational programs)

Please note: All children attending must be age 6 or older or have completed kindergarten and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children must have one adult in a tent. Tent sizes are available for 2, 4 or 6 people. Registration will be dependent upon having the needed sleeping accomodations. Participants must provide their own sleeping bags and sleeping pad or cot.

Your confirmation and an information packet will be mailed or e-mailed when your session is filled. Should we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will notify you.
