Behind the Scenes Tours - From Arctic to Africa!

Your guided tour begins in the Arctic Encounter® where you'll discover how the Zoo takes care of its seals and polar bears. Then travel on to the Safari Railway in Africa! to see where African hoovestock and birds are kept, what they are fed, and much more! This walking tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and is information-centered; there are no opportunities to feed or touch animals on the tour.

Offered daily at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m

September & October Weekends (through October 19)
11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

**Note: Booking for each tour closes 15 minutes before scheduled time. Please meet your tour guide 15 minutes early at the Behind-The-Scenes Cart so tours may start promptly.

Tour Rates
$8.00 Adults (12-59 yrs)
$6.00 Children (2-11 yrs)
$6.00 Seniors (60 yrs and over)
Members receive $1.00 off per person
Tour and lunch option are available. (please ask when purchasing tickets)

Tour groups are limited to 20 guests.
