Christmas in July
Now
the Zoo is spreading that Yuletide spirit throughout the year with
the debut of Christmas in July! Watch some of your favorite Zoo
animals open papier-mâché “gifts” stuffed
with species-appropriate treats that jolly old St. Nick has left
in their habitats.
It’s part of the Zoo’s animal enrichment activities,
through which the Zoo stimulates the animals’ senses and encourages
naturalistic behaviors as the animals interact with their habitats.
