Support your favorite Zoo animals with a holiday gift!

The Giving Tree

Get involved with the care and feeding of your favorite Zoo animals with The Giving Tree! Located in the Zoo's Museum of Science, The Giving Tree has removable paper ornaments that you can take and return with an enrichment item and/or a monetary contribution. Donations will be accepted throughout The Lights Before Christmas, going on now through December 31.

How You Can Give

To make a monetary donation to the Zoo PAL animal sponsorship program, you can take one of the paper ornaments from The Giving tree with a gift amount on it ($5, $10, $15, $20) and return it to the Membership Window at the Anthony Wayne Trail entrance or call (419) 385-5721, ext. 2068.

You can also click here to make a contribution online!

To donate an enrichment item, simply remove a paper ornament with the item of your choice. Once you've purchased that item, you can drop it off your donation and ornament at the North Star Trading Post® or at one of six area KeyBank locations (locations are listed on the ornaments).

When you bring your enrichment donation, please return your ornament to the Zoo or KeyBank location with your completed information. If you've already chosen an item from the list below, you can print a PDF version of the ornament and bring it with your donation.
