weekdays through September and October, seniors will receive
FREE parking in the Anthony Wayne Trail lot, FREE fresh-brewed
coffee and a mini-muffin at the Timberline Bakery, a 10% discount
on memberships, and a special senior-only discount in the
North Star Trading Post® gift shop. Seniors will also
receive FREE admission on Tuesdays. It's a great way to reconnect

Health Screenings by MedCorp will be taking place in the Arctic Encounter® each Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (with the exception of Senior Safari on Sept. 22, where screenings will be in the Nairobi Pavilion)

Join The Toledo Zoo and Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio for a fun day focused on seniors including health screens, exercise, safety tips and Zoo exploration! Lunch will be provided in the Nairobi Pavilion and tickets to the lunch may be purchased in advance by calling the Area Office on Aging at (419) 382-0624.

Hear the UT Jazz Ensemble directed by Gunnar Mossblad, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Indoor Theatre.
Plus, be sure to join us for a guided tour of the Aquarium. This remarkable WPA-era building houses a diverse collection of underwater creatures and is among the largest zoo aquariums in the Midwest.

The fourth stop on the WPA building tour, the Aviary was renovated in 1998. Its three walk-through habitats—the African Grasslands, Sonoran Desert and Australian Outback—are an experience all their own.

Seniors receive FREE admission.
Listen for the Bowsher High School Rebelaires Show Choir as they roam the Zoo from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Reptile House is the last stop on our guided WPA tour. Learn about the history of the building while getting a close up view of the Zoo’s reptile collection.

Wheelchairs are $5.00, Motorized Scooters are $20.00.
*Motorized Scooters must be reserved in advance by calling
419-389-6561. In addition to the rental fee, an ID will be
held until the wheelchair or scooter is returned.
