Membership Matters: Just a Reminder

  • Zoo members are asked to show a second photo I.D. with their membership card. Please bring your membership card with you to receive free parking and free admission. Zoo memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • When using your membership card, one of the named adults on the card must be present for admittance.
  • If sending your child/children to The Toledo Zoo with a caregiver, please send a note giving permission for him/her to use your membership card. Please note that only one caregiver can receive free admission with your Toledo Zoo membership card.
  • Members receive one free visit to The Lights Before Christmas with their membership card. Please note that free admission is only valid for those covered under your membership category and that all family members must attend together.
  • Moving or have a second residence? If so, please notify the Membership Office with your change of address so that you will continue to receive your Zoo mailings.
  • If you have an e-mail address, or have recently changed your e-mail address, please send it to membership@toledozoo.org so you can receive Safar-E-Mail, our online membership newsletter. To ensure delivery and proper display of email from the Zoo, please add our email address, toledo.zoo@toledozoo.org to your address book and safe sender list.
  • Lost Membership Cards can be replaced by sending $5 to the Membership Office along with your name, address and telephone number. Please use the following contact information to request your replacement card:

  • Please consider renewing or upgrading your membership prior to its expiration. Renewing early demonstrates your commitment to conservation by reducing the need for renewal notices. First renewal notices will now be sent via e-mail (if we have your current e-mail address), and renewal orders can be purchased online. Members who renew their membership prior to its expiration will receive the 10% discount on their renewal.
  • Remember, when visiting reciprocal zoos, you must present your membership card. Other zoos cannot access our data base to verify your membership.
  • Please note that checks will only be accepted at the Zoo when purchasing a Zoo membership at the membership Sales Window or items in one of our gift shops. Checks are no longer accepted at any food service areas. A valid ID must be presented when paying by check.

Note: Please allow a minimum of 3 to 7 days for processing memberships purchased online, and a minimum of 2 weeks for memberships purchased by mail or at the Membership Sales Window.
If you've already purchased your membership and have not received your card by the time you plan to visit, please stop by our Membership Sales Window located in the Anthony Wayne Trail entry plaza for a day pass.
