Historic South Side Concessions

The Carnivore Café:
Once home to lions and tigers, the air conditioned Café features sandwiches, burgers, salads, fries and more! Kids combos and souvenir cups are also available.

The Beastro:
Located next to the African Lodge, this open air café-style restaurant features a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches and wraps. Join us for tableside service with china and linen in a relaxed, shaded area.
Open 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during warmer months and before Music Under the Stars concerts throughout the summer.

Bird Feeder:
Featuring ice cream, funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy and smoothies.

Wild Dog:
Serving all-beef hot dogs, chicken tenders and French fries, plus ice-cold beverages and low fat wraps.

Polar Chill:
Cool down with lemon ice or black cherry ice. Also serving cotton candy, popcorn, caramel corn and bottled beverages.

Lemon Ice:
Home of lemon ice, black cherry ice, popcorn, cotton candy and bottled beverages.

North Side Concessions

Timberline Bakery:
Located in the North Star Trading Post®, you'll relax in a garden setting and enjoy homemade baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and more. Plus you'll find some delicious coffee beverages! The Timberline Bakery also handles requests for wedding cakes and creative customized pastries that can add a unique feature to your gathering. Click here to learn more

Northern Ice:
Serving popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, frozen lemonade and ice cold beverages.

Karoo Snack Stand:
Located in Africa!, the Karoo features pizza, chicken tenders, fries, sandwiches, snacks and more.

Karamu BBQ:
Also in Africa!, the Karamu serves burgers, hot dogs, smoked sausages, grilled chicken breast, roasted veggies and redskin potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, deli sandwiches, fresh salads, fresh fruit, kid's meal boxes, and frozen custard. Plus, there are many beverage options, including frozen lemonade.

Kibanda Beverages:
Serving Pepsi fountain products, fruit slushes and fruit smoothies in Africa!

In addition to the establishments listed above, you'll find additional concession carts at various locations on Zoo grounds during warmer months and some Zoo events.
