Complimentary
Ticket or Membership Donation Requests:
The Toledo Zoo will consider
donating 2 one-day admission passes (good for any daytime
visit until December 31, 2009) or a one-year membership to
qualifying non-profit organizations (or groups sponsored by
them) to be used as prizes or auction items for events or
fundraising activities. To be considered for these donations,
organizations must be located in Lucas, Wood, Monroe, Wayne,
and Washtenaw Counties. The Toledo Zoo will read all requests
and consider each on an individual basis; however, not all
requests can be fulfilled. Accepting a request does not guarantee
it will be fulfilled the following year.
If you feel your organization qualifies,
please mail us your request on your organization’s original
letterhead (we cannot accept fax or email copies) and enclose
a copy of your organization’s state or federal letter
documenting your 501 (c) (3) status, along with self-address,
stamped envelope to:
The Toledo Zoo
Attn: Donations
PO Box 140130
Toledo, Ohio 43614
Please allow 30 days for
processing. Thank you for thinking of The Toledo Zoo!
Companies for Kids Ticket Donation
Requests:
Companies for Kids, the Zoo’s
corporate sponsorship program, distributes complimentary admission
passes to organizations that serve low-income (eligible for
free or reduced lunch), at-risk, or disabled children, providing
a visit to the Zoo to children who might otherwise never have
the experience. These admission passes have been donated by
area businesses as part of the Companies for Kids program.
If at least 50% of the children in your
group meet one of the above requirements, Companies for Kids
can provide complimentary admission passes for all of the
children in the group and some of the adult chaperones. Although
this may not provide free admission for everyone in your group,
we hope it will reduce the overall cost sufficiently to allow
you to visit the Zoo.
If you would like to take advantage of this
offer, please mail (we cannot accept fax or email requests)
your request on your organization’s letterhead to:
Companies for Kids
The Toledo Zoo
PO Box 140130
Toledo OH 43614-0801
Please include the date you wish to visit
the Zoo (allow 30 days for processing), the number of children
you will be bringing, and why you feel they meet the criteria.
The Toledo Zoo will read all requests and will consider each
on an individual basis; however not all requests can be fulfilled.
Accepting a request does not guarantee it will be fulfilled
the following year. Thank you for thinking of The Toledo Zoo!
