Mon – Sun: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Zoo closes at 5 p.m.
Members Mornings 9 a.m. entry every Sat. and Sun. through Oct. 31
Sept. 4: Arctic encounter closing at 3 p.m.
Sept. 5: Africa! Overlook closing at 4 p.m.
Sept. 6: Africa! Overlook closing at 4 p.m.
Sept. 12: Aquarium opening at 11 a.m.; Africa! Overlook closing at 3:30 p.m.
Sept. 18: Zoo closed for ZOOtoDO event.
Sept. 19: Africa! Overlook and Aquarium closing at 4 p.m.
Sept. 20: Broadway entrance and parking lot closed 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wild Wellness Walkers enter at Anthony Wayne Trail lot.
Sept. 20: Amherst Dr., Dartmouth Dr., Broadway St., & select South Side walkways closed for Garmin Marathon 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Parking
The Zoo has two parking areas for visitor use. Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot (2 Hippo Way, Toledo, OH 43609) and Broadway parking lot (2683 Broadway St. Toledo, OH 43609).

Free parking available for all members at the Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot only. President’s Circle members can park for free in the Broadway parking lot; all other membership categories must pay for parking in the Broadway parking lot.

Outside food, beverages and coolers not permitted inside the Zoo. Picnic tables are available at Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot and Walbridge Park. Exceptions are permitted for medical items, dietary restrictions, baby formula and pre-registered school groups visiting the Zoo.
The Toledo Zoo has implemented a non-contact security screening and visual bag inspection upon entering the Zoo. Click here for more information.
