Homeschool Programs

2024-2025 Series: Animals to the Extreme!
(Ages 5-10)

$120 per child for members / $150 per child for non-members

Explore the most extreme animals from around the world! Learn about animals that are “the best” at what they do and debate which animal deserves the title of “most extreme!” This three-season program begins in Sept. 2024 and runs through mid-May 2025 (excluding Jan.) and is a fun way to learn through group activities, live animals and Zoo visits! Program participants will be divided by age.

Programs meet for a single 90-minute class session at a set time once a month. Students sign up into classes of similar age. Choose between morning (10:30 a.m. - noon) or afternoon (1:30 - 3 p.m.) sessions and day of the week (Wed., Thurs., or Fri.). Your sign-up for Sept. will serve as your registration for the entire year. The homeschool program is a drop-off program.

2024-2025 Series: Zoology
(Ages 11-14)

$150 per child for members / $190 per child for non-members

Check out our NEW Zoology course! This class is designed for students ages 11-14 and will explore various topics in zoology with an emphasis on exposure to zoology careers. Students will get up-close with animal ambassadors, complete STEM projects and activities and get unique experiences behind the scenes of the zoo. This three-season program begins in September 2024 and runs through mid-May 2025 (excluding Jan.)

Programs meet for a single two hour class session at a consistent time once a month. Choose between morning (10 a.m. – noon) or afternoon (1– 3 p.m.) sessions and day of the week (Tues., Wed., Thurs., or Fri.). Your registration for the Sept. class will serve as your registration for the entire series.
