The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is excited to host the first annual Kodiak Classic golf outing at the beautiful and exclusive Barton Hills Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This outing offers an excellent tool for business development; this experience has “class” at its core. Promoting your business to this influential market of golfers is an excellent way to stay at the top of the minds of our local business leaders.
More than a third of the Zoo’s million visitors and members are from southeast Michigan. This outing offers a great opportunity for our patrons in Michigan to show their support and help to make an impact on children in the community through the Zoo’s Companies for Kids program. This program is underwritten by corporate support that provides admission tickets to local non-profit organizations and schools in southeast Michigan, giving them an opportunity to visit the Zoo for free. For many children, this could be their first time visiting a zoo. More than 8,000 tickets were distributed in 2023 throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan and the Zoo is looking to increase that impact this year. Sponsoring Kodiak Classic offers a wonderful way to create a heightened corporate image, while demonstrating your organization’s commitment to families and children in the community.
Schedule of Events
9 a.m.: Registration and check-in at the ProShop. Bag drop provided, and putting green and driving range open.
9:30 - 10:45 a.m.: Brunch in Lounge
11 a.m.: Shotgun scramble
3:30 - 5 p.m.: Strolling stations with heavy hors d'oeuvres and awards in the Main Dining Room and Veranda
